I think I get it now.
The latest pitiable GOP plan, from what I can tell, goes something like this: To make it all so absurd, to make the remaining Bush administration proposals and doctrines and cultural stratagems so outlandish and silly and degrading and insulting to your mind and your heart and your very own beleaguered genitalia that you cannot help but take note of their existence and laugh and cringe and sit back and go, Oh my God these people have got to be kidding.
At which point (they hope) you will turn to your spouse or your significant other or your dog and say, Hey honey, check this out, did you see the latest moronic and horrible dictum from the Bush administration? We should totally try it, just for kicks! (Continue reading…)

Taking the Masculine off the Cross by Anyaa McAndrew and Babadez Nichols

It is generally true that women are about 15 years ahead of men in terms of their psycho-emotional-spiritual development. Most men are just not well-equipped to deal with the depth and complexity of women. Experts like David Deida, teacher of the yoga of intimacy, say that “most men are just plain clueless about women and relationship”. Many powerful women are often disappointed that they are not able to attract men who are evolved enough to keep their attention for more than 2 dates. (Continue reading…)

A Peru Epiphany by Jade Wah’oo

Some years ago I was traveling through Peru. We had just visited the Nazca lines, having flown over them in a small airplane and viewed the gigantic zoomorphic figures from the air. The next stop on our itinerary was a place known as Cahuachi. Upon our arrival at this site that lies about 10 miles in from the Pacific Coast we were introduced to the archaeological dig that was being undertaken by the Peruvian government. We were taken to an adobe (mud brick) stepped pyramid. A swath had been debris-cleared from the bottom to the top of the pyramid, some 40 feet above. This exposed a hallway that went into an inner chamber. There was also a large ceramic pot half unearthed, left in situ. (Continue reading…)

The Still Point by T.S. Elliot

Posted on Monday 6 November 2006

At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrest nor movement. And do not call it fixity,
Where past and future are gathered. Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline. Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance, and there is only the dance,
I can only say, there we have been: but I cannot say where.
And I cannot say, how long, for that is to place it in time.
The inner freedom from the practical desire,
The release from action and suffering, release from the inner
And the outer compulsion, yet surrounded
By a grace of sense, a white light still and moving.

Note: According to The Pleiadians, we are moving into a time where we are living the equivalent of 100,000 years per year! That’s 275 years a day! Soooo, as The Hopis say “When the world speeds up, slow down!”
